My parents were really impressed with my new Definitive Technology ProCinema 600 surroundsound speaker system and were so excited to be able to come over and watch movies with me. I can tell they don’t get into home theater systems nearly as much as I do but they still appreciated how great it sounded.
They just really had a good time being able to hang out with me for an evening and watch a few movies together. I ended up renting six different movies that I was interested in watching. I figured they could pick one or two of their favorites to watch and then I would enjoy watching the rest over the weekend. They ended up choosing to watch the “Green Lantern” and “Old Dogs.” It worked out really well because we had a fantasy/adventure movie to watch as well as a funny comedy. “Old Dogs” ended up being quite a bit funnier than I was expecting. We all laughed quite a bit watching that one.
